Hi! I’m Kirsten Hirst, a Utah-based artist specializing in mixed-media and paper collage.
As a child, I dreamed of finding lost things and painting them. A cool-looking rock, discarded paint samples, an unclaimed mitten on the playground—I was fascinated by the quiet, obscure beauty in the world around me.
Today, I paint with paper, collecting and revitalizing fragments, photographs, memories, and art left behind by myself and others. At its core, my art is a celebration of warmth, love, and playfulness—a reminder of the beauty hidden in everyday moments.
